The New England Prep Fall Elite League is anticipating its fifth season in the Fall of 2013. The league, which was inspired by the Minnesota Fall Elite League, gives prep school hockey players the opportunity to play at a high level prior to the start of their seasons.

In 2012 the NPL completed its most sucessful season. The games were held at the Newington Ice Arena. Twin sheets of ice allowed the league to give more players theopportunity to participate under one roof. This allowed college and pro scouts easy access to view players in highly competitive games.

New for 2013 - Showcase Format

The league will be played over six Sundays. Each Sunday a showcase unto itself. The six Sundays will take place at twin rinks. Each team will play two games each day. The dates are scheduled to be as follows: September 22, September 29, October 6, October 20, October 27, and November 3.

The showcase style format will enhance what the NPL is deigned for - Competition and exposure.

The NPL is looking forward to the Fall of 2013.
